Emily
46 hours of time and labor go into each wedding Emily does on average. 23 years old was when Emily launched Tipsy Tulip Designs. 4 shots of espresso keep her running throughout the day. |
Emily is the owner and lead designer of Tipsy Tulip Designs. She founded the Tipsy Tulip after crafting wedding flowers for her own intimate ceremony in 2018. After finding her passion for custom wedding flowers, Emily dove in head first. She began learning anything and everything about floristry and the mechanics behind it. When Emily isn't working you will most often find her cuddled up on the couch with her husband, Tom(meet him below), catching up on their favorite shows like House Hunters or Master Chef. Or planning their next family snowmobiling trip to New Hampshire. The peony, is by far, Emily's favorite flower and she currently has over 60 of them planted at her studio. She has everything from the classic white to a unique Japanese variety called "Cherry Blossom."

Tom
31 years Tom has lived in Vermont. One could also say his whole life. 62 (and growing) weddings Tom has helped Emily setup and deliver. 4 years since Tom and Emily tied the knot themselves. |
Tom, better known as the delivery man and muscle, is an integral part of the team and other half of the Tipsy Tulip.
He is the resident arbor-enthusiast and construction master, and Emily’s go-to guy for triple-checking her work and lifting the heaviest buckets. When Tom married Emily, he may not have known that meant he was signing up for a life of "Do I need another rose here?" and "Help! This is so heavy", but he has done a fantastic job and is the best support system. |
Margaret
15 years Margaret has been professionally photographing weddings and special events. 2 years Margaret has worked for Tipsy Tulip Designs. 1 daughter who dances competitively all over New England. |
Margaret is a native Vermonter with some pretty exciting, big city wedding experience. After high school, she attended the Hallmark Institute of Photography and then moved to San Francisco to kick-start her wedding photography career. After enjoying years of shooting well-attended luxury weddings in California, Margaret returned to her home state of Vermont to raise her daughter, Octavia. Margaret then spent the summer photographing weddings and the winter winding Christmas wreaths with her mom, where she developed her love for all things floral. Margaret joined Tipsy Tulip Designs in 2021 and has been an incredible asset with her years of experience in the wedding industry. Margaret is still an avid wedding photographer and you can contact her here about photographing your upcoming nuptials.

Nora
14 when she starting working the wedding industry for a local catering company. 3 different sectors of the wedding world Nora has worked in that include catering, planning and now florals. 1 sweet Golden Retriever who is spoiled just like Jackson. |
Nora is a wedding lover and a romantic at heart. Nora discovered her admiration for the wedding industry when she was just 14 years old. She spent the next 7 years working for a local catering company before she took the next step in her journey. Nora grew her passion for weddings and eventually became a self-starter as event coordinator. Her favorite flower is a sweet pea because the smell reminds her of her grandmother ,which is where her love for flowers bloomed. When Nora isn't flowering with Tipsy Tulip Designs, you can find her and her soon-to-be husband traveling the world to fun places like Thailand, Japan and Ecuador where she got to see the Ecuadorian flower market!

Jackson
287 times (and growing) Jackson has stolen a flower out of Emily's work bucket. 2 many times to count Jackson has interrupted Emily for treats and snuggles mid design. 1 yellow lab brother, Milo. |
Jackson, the fluffy little "helper." He absolutely loves tennis balls and playing with his other Goldie friends. Jackson loathes the rain, and well, all water in general actually. He hates getting his luscious golden locks wet. Jackson can be spotted roaming the studio and munching on the leftover greenery. He wants all of our wedding couples to know that he is pre-apologizing for the stray fluff here and there.
