Vermont Wedding Flowers and Floral Design
Hey There! It is so nice to virtually meet you!
I'm Emily! The owner and lead designer of Tipsy Tulip Designs. I'm a maple latte lover, a wife and proud #DogMom. I got started in the wedding flower industry after doing flowers for my own intimate wedding. I fell in love with the process of picking the perfect blooms and greenery then meticulously putting them together to create lush garden style bouquets and arrangements.
I love working with couples from all over to bring their wedding flower dreams to life. However, you don't need to have a concrete vision to inquire! Part of my job is to help guide you and educate you on the perfect blooms to match your style and color palette. For the most part, that includes local fresh in-season flowers with the occasional imported bloom. A fun fact is that we spend between 2-3 hours alone creating your bridal bouquet and use only the most beautiful lush blooms. My favorite flower? Simple answer, Peony! I am in love with the soft ruffled petal structure of peonies. I grow more than 50 different varieties in my cut flower garden. The peony can mean many things but most prominent are good fortune, a happy marriage and romance. P.S. I am also a huge eucalyptus lover and will add any and all forms of eucalyptus to your wedding flowers. |
Emily has quickly become one of the best florists in the New England wedding industry. Her talent is apparent with every floral arrangement she creates. Perhaps more important that her impressive floral arrangements is her kind demeanor and ability to connect with her clients. Emily helps bring clients' visions to life, and if a client is unsure of what they want, she is great about providing inspiration and creating a floral vision that exceeds expectations. I cannot recommend Emily enough! - Ellen Sargent Photography

I am so thankful I did a first look with my husband because I kid-you-not I could not stop staring at this beautiful arbor piece as I was walking down the aisle! I gave Emily an idea of my vision and she perfected it. I'm some-what of a perfectionist myself and when she sent me her proposal she had no problem redoing it (several times) as I changed my mind on particular flowers/colors. She was super quick with all communication! I loved that she also had some options for rental items for decor. They helped me tie it all together a little better and helped me find the final few pieces I needed. Not only does Emily have the creative vision and great product, but she is SUPER flexible. I had a complicated ceremony site change (private island, only accessible by boat) 1 week prior to the date. She was able to figure out how to get the arbor over there without any additional anxiety on my end (thank you). Then......T-2 hours to ceremony time, we had another site change due to inclement weather. I can't imagine the stress all of this caused her on her end, but I never experienced any of it. I cannot say enough great things. Hire Tipsy Tulip, you will not regret it! - Taylor M married September 2020
